So I went a bit mental during the Winter Sale this year, and I've ended up with a backlog of games in my library. I just finished Redout (awesome game, recommended) and am looking to start another game in my pile. The question is: where do I start?

Thanks for your answers :D

Get dem mods on Skyrim.

Modding isn't really my thing, I prefer the vanilla experience.

Honestly, even if you just get visual mods, it's worth it. Having played through Skyrim with and without mods I can say mods massively enhance the experience., especially stuff like Frostfall

Yea, but... then you're playing a Bethesda game, and that's just gross.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Never played a Bethesda game (DOOM doesn't really count, does it?) so I'm not sure what to expect. If I do get any mods they'd be strictly graphical, nothing game-changing.

well, bethesda are really evil people, and they don't fix game breaking bugs even years into a game existence, just like skyrim. you need mods to fix those, the follower bow bug is one of them, basically no matter how epic a bow you give your follower, he will always equip some invisible inventory wodden crap bow and deal shit damage all game long, and that's one of those game breaking bugs. there's also the giant strike moon launch, the raining mammoths, etc...

for bethesda games the vanilla experience is crap, you need mods, just be super selective and get the ones that doesnt differ too much from vanilla, for example, don't get dragons replaced with thomas the steam engine's.

I never install community patch mods because Bethesda bugs are usually half the fun of playing the game xD

If it weren't for the list you gave us, I would, based on your name, ask you whether or nor you played antichamber, the witness and both portal games.
