I'm planning to buid my first PC, but since I'm new to this I wanted to check if there's something missing/something I should change/something that I can save money on.

I'll use the PC mostly for gaming, and I want the option to overclock.

I want the PC to be able to play any game on default/high settings, 60fps+ IF POSSIBLE for the same price as this build,

Looks good. The only thing I would consider is a bigger SSD or an i7.

Get a used 128gb SSD for 30$, get a GTX 980ti for like 300$

The max CPU cooler height for that case is 180mm.

I'd look at the new Intel 600 series ssd its a bit more expensive but you'll appreciate the extra space and speed. Also I'd stick with the 1070,  the extra vram will come in handy if you are wanting to crank the eye candy.
