How to do i get my DP to send a 2560x1400p at 144hz? I know im using an AMD graphics card atm but im planning to switch soon. Any reason why i cant achieve that Resolution and Hz?

 

Any help would get great.

Display port is current displaying 1024x768. No clue why. In addition, when im on HDMI it should beable to run at 1440p and 60hz instead of the max of 144hz

maybe that's your isssue

 

could try reinstalling drivers, just in case.

reinstall i meant the software for amd is funky. i dont understand it at all lol

Right click your desktop > Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings

 

You can set your resolution here

 

> Display Adapter Settings > Monitor

 

You can set your screen refresh rate here. You don't need to use AMD drivers at all

I mean, i would but it only goes up to 60hz and also the resolution is limited in windowsq to 1386x788

Use DDU, deinstall EVERYTHING that has to do with any AMD Drivers with that Tool (of course, boot in security mode for that).

 

Once everything is gone, do a clean Install of the latest AMD Driver for your GPU.
