car audio connector

So today i was looking in my mum's car whether there was a connector for connecting your phone to or USB. I didnt find neither of them, but instead i found a ,,Media in'' connector that i have never seen, do you guys know what connector that exactly is and what it can be used for exactly? I provide a picture as well!

It is known as Car Media Interface Input.

Did some research, there are adapters where one end goes to that port and other is a USB, 3.5mm or Lightning port.

so i can get an adapter for usb and one for 3.5mm? nice
