I am pretty sure razer would only make the exterior or case.  They have no ability to make chips, screens, batteries, etc.

 

Unless they have some super artistic sense in designing the looks of a smartphone, they might not succeed, considering they would have to outsource their part manufacturing resulting in higher costs.

asus also makes smart phones, why not razer. i was close to buying the zen phone but it only came in gold....
