I've been having issue with my desktop recently , sometimes (70% of the time) when I startup or restart my desktop , the motherboard produces 5 short beeps and then boot into Windows 10 normally .

There seems to be no issue with my CPU or RAM since it booted into windows without any issue . Not sure if it's the USB devices causing the issues , but I'm really reluctant on unplugging everything because there's too much connected . So is there anyway to test the system and find out whats causing the beeping noise ?

Ps edit : I'm also having major frame rate issue running on a few games , sometimes my game fps drops from 165 to around 20 and back up again . CPU and GPU temps are around 40 - 45 degrees Celsius , not overclocked .

It means that your CPU likes to fail during POST. Try updating your BIOS, could be something faulty.

My motherboard BIOS is on the most updated version .

to be completely blatantly honest with you, i'm seriously reconsidering the idea of recommending gigabyte boards since i helped someone troubleshoot 5 long beeps on their gigabyte board, i had to dig all the way down to an obscure reddit thread to find out that that means the ram isnt seated properly. the little official information they have on post codes (literally next to nothing) is worthless, their telephone support is appareantly equally worthless, and to make matters worse their post codes are partially custom so there's no generic sources either.

Exactly , I built this desktop a month back and when I tried booting it up the first time , it had issues with the RAM and I had to change another RAM just so it can boot , then there's issue with the motherboard having intermittent issues and now this . Their software isn't that good either and there's literally no live support or phone line in my country for their support , the only way I can contact them is through email which takes roughly 6 days for them to reply .

I guess I got their motherboard on impulse when I asked around which motherboard could theoretically support 6 HDD and 2 SSD
