HyperX Stinger. Go or not?

I bought a Corsair CX500 for 49.99 because I thought my PSU was dead. Turns out it wasn't so I am now returning it. Instead of getting my money back I decided to use the returned 49.99 for a new headset

Found HyperX stinger for that price. In stock. Reviews are really amazing.

I just need it for gaming. Nothing fancy at all. I would love to have a recommendation too if Stinger turns out to be a flop (which I hope and I believe it is not)

Budget ~50 CAD. Under 50 would be most welcome so try to do so. Must be NCIX as I bought the above mentioned PSU there. And must be in stock, at least in ON region.

Out of stock in Ontario. Not much photo. Can not see if the cups are violet/purple or blue

Guess I will go with it

U can spend a lil more and get the cloud core instead.

It is fine to me, I am not a person who throws stuff away in rage so build quality is not a concern to me. I did look at some other options. Core is ~13 more not sure if it is super worth it

Get the cloud core if you can, its very good, worth every penny. It have the exact same sound signature with all the cloud lineup (core - 1 - 2), so basically you're getting the $120 at a cheaper price with less accessories

The Stingers are a good choice, you get alright sound quality (not quite as good as the cloud headsets) but in my opinion i prefer the attached mic that you can just move out of the way (Which also mutes when in the upright position). The cloud mic always bothered me that i would have to plug it in every time i wanted to use it and then leave it on my desk the rest of the time, obviously this is a nice thing to have if you plan to use the headphones on the go but i just use earbuds when im out and about.
