If u care about quiet operation buy the g1.

Single fan sometimes a bit loud.

and get the 6Gb version if u are running a 1080p monitor.

Thanks for the reply! Also I'm running games at 900p and don't have the cash to upgrade my monitor any time soon.

Lol the 3gb always bests the 4gb rx480 in almost every video I have seen. So isn't higher frames better?

In dx11 yes but its only 4-7 fps so its not that impressive.

With 3Gb of ram u may need to turn down the settings to achieve 60fps.

While 4Gb of ram is enough for 1080p getting amd card has a lot of benefit.

-Better in dx12 even though not many games support it these days but i am sure it will in the future

-Vulkan api

-Free-sync monitor ( way cheaper and affordable than g-sync counterparts )

Dude I use a 900p can I play all games at ultra and get 60fps since AMD in my country is more expensive for some reason

Well then its on u.

Imo 480 4Gb/8Gb is more futureproof.

Even RE 7 DEMO eat all of my 6gb on my 1060 in ultra settings at 1080p.

Signing off.

PS : I am not a Dude

Okay sorry, but I need your personal knowledge and experience here. Can I be able to run games on high/ultra at 900p? With the 3gb card since I don't have a 1080p monitor. Thank again

With i3 530?

well dont except 60fps at high settings.

Upgrade it to at least i3 6100/kaby lake pentium or better i5 6400.

Cause ur cpu will be a massive bottleneck.

Can't upgrade :( so I will be getting no upgrade in graphical performance whatsoever I have a 650ti

Okay this is my last answer.

You will but its not worth it.

Try to spend less on GPU if u are short on money.

Like getting RX 470 and spend the rest on the CPU n Mobo.

Or just spend them all on CPU or MOBO. 650 Ti is old but still capable enough if u turned down the settings.

PS : u can sell ur i3 530 and 650 Ti to give u some money.

Okay thanks alot for answering much appreciated. I will be going for a 470 and a used CPU. :D

Gta v and Batman Arkham knight, keeping in mind I have a the i3-sh*tbucket 530

For a first gen i3 go for a 1050 or 1050 ti instead (if it's a good deal cheaper than the rx 470).  Buy yourself some time for the next upgrade.

There's only so much money you want to spend on a 7 year old platform.  Even if you upgrade the CPU on your current motherboard it's only going to get you so far.  Perhaps you'll see a slight improvement in multi-threaded optimized games but the platform itself is still a bit too old for that to be a game changer.

Yes, the 1050 is slower, but at 900p and with a first gen i3 that's not going to matter very much, so you might as well save the money.

If the plan is to play AAA titles like BF1 or Witcher 3, expect around 30fps, whether it's a 1050 or 1060.

hey there needed your help again guys!, first off thanks for the replies earlier secondly i have decided to go for 1060 3gb and later in 2 months get a new cpu. Is the i3-6100 good enough for the 1060 and also is this  Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2PV-WP Intel H110 Chipset Socket 1151 Motherboard  a good mobo?
Thanks

It's good enough.  I have an i3 6100 paired with a 970.

If you wait a bit longer though you may be able to get an H210 board for the same price instead, and get a cheaper pentium.  Kaby Lake Pentium is hyperthreaded now, so you essentially can get the same performance for $30 less and have a good upgrade path.  The first method works too, but keep that in mind.
