Factory reset PC Will my Windows Upgrade to 10

I'm cleaning out my PC and factory resetting it at the moment i'm using windows 7 I'v used windows 10 on my laptop and other peoples PC and i really really dislike it, will factory resetting my PC just upgrade it to Windows 10 when it re-downloads the everything including the operating system?

No, that's how iPhones work, not PCs.

If you wipe it and reinstall Windows 7, it'll still use Windows 7.

My knowledge is that if you have activated Win10 with your key, Win update will offer Win10 like it would offer service packs. I haven't done this with Win7, just with Win8.1 and while free upgrade was going on, so I can be mistaken here.

After I activated Win10 with my key and went back to 7, It's only ever offered me Win10 through that annoying popup that everyone went crazy about, never through Windows Update.
