768 on a 14 inch display - it's not fucking 2005 mate

http://www1.ap.dell.com/content/topics/segtopic.aspx/products/quickship/au/en/latitude?c=au&l=en&s=dfo

Dell Outlet has a 14 inch Latitude machine with a quad-core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. 1080p display.

Sure it doesn't have that fancy bendy hinge shit but hey, it's a good machine. $839.

idk

have fun lugging that thing around. It's a lot bigger than the Lenovo and I'd think as a university student you'd want to have a light bag. edit: u dont need to buy windows my mistake.

What weight do u think would be good? All i want is a touchscreen, SSD and fast enough processor. Also the best deal. This weighs 1.5 kg

it is a better machine, yeah. HP's newer machines aren't particularly the best quality, but you even get a touchscreen.

alternatively, fake being a student (or maybe you are, idk) and get 15% off Surface Pros -

idk

how about this?

https://us-store.acer.com/switch-alpha-12-sa5-271-52fg-recertified

has your touchscreen, it's ips 1440p.

Super light, works well as a tablet.

Plenty of ram/ssd space.

core i u processor power with core m silence.

Comes with an active pen.

only $550

Basically it's what your original post had, but with better cpu, better ram, better disk space, better screen, comes with pen, and $250 cheaper.

I'm planning on picking it up later this week.

Build: Intel S2600gz, 2x E5-2670, EVGA SC 1070, Zotac 1060 6GB mini, 48GB Micron 1333mhz ECC DDR3, 2x Intel DPS-750XB 750 watt PSU

Showing more ignorance. You forgot to add the large tax and import fees for this.
