EVGA PSU's

I've seen a lot of people trashing EVGA PSU's here, and I'm curious what you think of mine.

I find that hard to believe, only the NEX, bronze and normal EVGA are thought to be "lesser" PSU's

 

You are fine, G2/G3/GQ are all top tier PSU's

Who said EVGA are bad. AFAIK none of the people I know of said that

 

You judge PSU by specific model not by brand overall 

EVGA G2 is a TIER 1 PSU, highest TIER in the TIER List

Just look at the PSU tier list, you will find that's a pretty good PSU.

I'm pretty sure most of the ones people talk about were Bronze, so that clears it up.  I picked it based on reviews, but literally everyone posted an EVGA PSU in their list, someone said "That's garbage" (or something similar), and I was starting to worry.

The W1 series is bad and the B and G NEX series are not great (G1 based on FSP units with sub-par voltage regulation). All of the other units are at least decent, with the G2, G3, P2 and T2 series all being fantastic.

Bronze and 80+ "White" for that matter do not indicate quality.

Well people then recommend a different Bronze one.  That's what made me think it was specifically the brand.

There are good 80+ Bronze PSUs like this and then there are bad Gold ones like this.
