2 Questions.

Cpu cooling - I'm currently using a Noctua nh-d15 with my 6800k. I could hit 4.4ghz stable at 1.4v, but its crossing into the 90s 1-7% of the time on 100% load (observed over the course of 4 hours and dropped to 4.3 at 1.35v where temps plummeted on load). Are there any AiO liquid coolers that can give me a substantial diff in temps at 1.4v or is it simply not worth it?

Gpu cooling - aio coolers for the 980ti g1 gaming?

things still tend to get pretty toasty in the 1.4v range.  The NH-D15 is pretty good and I dont think that many AIO's are going to give you a substantial difference.  I'm not too sure on the g1's compatibility, but there is the Kraken G10 bracket for the asetek coolers (their compatibility is listed on their website)

A 280 or 360mm AiO will perform better than the D15, although the only "good" 360 AIO is the EK predator.

I noticed. It's almost a 15C diff going into 1.4v. Disappointed to be honest

Is it worth it? Would it cause a big dent at 1.4v?

Going to look into it. For the time being, i'm just going to try and keep my rig under 80C on load. Thanks!

yeah thats a decent amount of voltage so it's going to get hot, this is why my 4790k is naked mounted under a custom loop to run 1.4v ^_^

Are you hitting these 90's under regular use loads?  I've seen other 6800k users reporting about 85c on "light" stress tests (aida & realbench) with a 240mm aio at 1.4v

No just at 100%. At 4.4 Idle im sitting at 35-38c and under a medium load i'm hitting 65-80. To be honest, i'm considering just dropping down to 4.2 where my voltage was only 1.2 and on load I was sitting at 68c tops with fans at low rpms.
