Brand new LCD scrambled vertical lines Asus MX25

Just took a brand new Asus MX25AQ out of the box. Put it in place and plugged it in. First thing I see is a startup logo all scrambled up. Looks like vertical lines are misplaced and moving.
 

The monitor does this without any input. When I hook up my pc, it will directly recognize and display my desktop. However, this is scrambled up the same way. It has nothing to do with the computer. Am I missing something, can it be a setting? Or is this display just fkd up?
