Pressing Enter deletes text typed

Tieox

Using latest Windows 10 public release, on a new install of Chrome  Version 56.0.2924.76 (64-bit)

When typing text as in this post here, I will press enter to make a new paragraph and quite often especially when using quick reply, it will delete all or a chunk of the text, requiring me to Ctrl+Z to undo this action, when I press enter again to attempt my paragraph the text again vanishes.  End result is I just have to post or reload the whole page, and start over.

Quite an irritating bug which seemed to be fixed at one point.

I'm using a brand new Cougar 600k, and have had this issue on my Logitech G11 keyboard, and the cheapo Advent keyboard which I used for the short period before the Cougar arrived.

It's a random issue which appears from time to time, as I am writing this post I've entered one paragraph and it's fine, it seems to me like a script issue, and I'm curious if any forum admin, has heard or seen this issue themselves?

It will delete the text at a random point, not like how insert types into the text as you type (good thinking, though)

I think next time it hits I'll get the GoPro filming and try and record it in action.

Less than 48hours old.  Had this in previous installs too.

Beginning to believe given nobody seems to have this issue it could be a Chrome Extension.  I use

Grammarly

Ublock Origin ( disabled here)

Gmail Checker

Scriptblock ( all scripts permitted here)

HTTPS Everywhere.

Does it only happen in Chrome? If so, I'd agree with an extension.

Will have to set aside some time to try that out, I pretty much only use Chrome.  Something to do while I sort my Mac Mini out.

Never use it, the only purpose I use Edge for is to download Chrome.

Downloaded Firefox, will run it for rest of today for forum use here, and see if the bug happens again.

If I experience the same issue in Firefox will give IE a shot, as I mentioned it's bizarre how I can go hours fine, then have it hit 2-3times in a row.

Confirms my suspicions.. shame it's a really handy extension.
