Hello everybody,

I am looking to buy a mechanical keyboard and i need some advice. The keyboard should be simple (i'm not into the rgb lighting, so white backlight should be enough), full 104 keys layout, no need for macro keys or multimedia. I will be using  it in the office typing and less for gaming so it should be somewhat quiet so that i don't bother my colleagues that much. My budget is around 80 to 100 euro, but less than that wouldn't be bad.

What caught my attention in terms of overall design was the Logitech g610 but in my country it comes only in the us-international layout with the left shift shortened to make room for another key.

What other keyboards would you recommend? Thank you very much!

if you want silent switches that rules out blues, if you're able to, I'd recommend going to a shop where they sell keyboards so you can test brown and red switches. Personally I thought I wanted brown ones, but I absolutely hated them, to me it felt like rubber dome keyboard that what worn out, horrible. Red switches was my favourite (blacks are the same just "harder" springs), and I love them for gaming and typing in general. The caveat however, depending on how hard you type you might have to put in o-rings to not drive your coworkers demented.

The people I live with can clearly hear me when i type, and it's not nice how they describe it (so I'm getting some rings for mine), so when I game they're just glad their rooms are at the other end of the appartment, I bottom out hard usually though, just a little heads up.

Are they really silent blues? I heard they were quieter reds.

Thank you all for the replies. The Corsair strafe is way to expensive in my country (around 200 euro) and i'm not willing to pay that much. The WASD code and the Cooler Master Quickfire seem nice and relatively quiet and around my budget also. I read that the brown switches are the most quiet, but i may be mistaken. I will try to find a store where i could test different keyboards in order to make an idea. If you have other recommendations please share them with me. Thank you!
