Other cooling solutions and "forgotten" projects

Its been 2 years since there is barely any update on the Kinetic Cooler or Sandia Cooler.

The first model is available on Amazon.

 

Before Sandia Cooler, there was a cooler (pun intended) project back in 2012... 5 years ago...

Since 2012 there is nothing new at all about this project, no one seems interested

in it despite the fact that devices are getting thinner and thinner lol... 

 

And then there is Calyos cooling solutions: 

I've investigated few things about them and I realized how smart their approach to

cooling electronics was. They started in 2012 cooling way bigger components as

they didn't have the tech to make their systems small.

 

 The only difference between Calyos project and others is that they knew how to

lure investors investors for the project as they became quite big in 5 years. Something

I can't say about the rest, its either that no one wants to invest in that technology or 

they don't know how to show it off properly !?

Yeah but its rated for 70W only.

Considering it's only 27mm in height, it's really quite impressive. There's a 10mm taller version coming to the market soon which should support 95W TDP CPUs.

The thermal take engine 27 is only 70w TDP which kinda sucks in a full sized case as you can get 100w passive coolers. There's a fanless passive case that is 65w tdp; I can't recall the name

Yea that's the one. That case is why I'm paying attention to what amd is going to bring out this year in the apu line. We should be able to get something more powerful than a console but silent
