How to make a 5 inch raspberry pi screen work on windows

I bought a 5 inch touch screen 800x480 display for a project, and when i plug a hdmi cable and the power cable to my pc, the screen is stuck white, i need help and i dont have a Raspberry PI

When only power is provided it stays white, the backlight comes on, i dont get a logo, i tried on a Xbox 360 and video appeared though completly glitched.

Well my friend, it appears that you have a faulty product on your hands. The only thing left is to try to re-sit all the connectors see if that makes any difference. Otherwise I can't think of anything practical that can help you. Maybe try to get a refund?
