About rigid 90 degree adapters

Solved the problem with thicker O-rings.

 

The area where I need 90 degree bents is very narrow so tall rotary type 90 degree adapters wouldn't fit in there. 

So, ordered couple 90 degree adapters for my build but seems like they are not very tight to the direction I want but I would have to tighten them 90 degrees more so o-rings seat in properly.

 

Is there a trick to adjust these rigid ones or by pure luck you get correct orientation ? Like thicker O-ring or something..

If they are rigid fittings you have no options to decide which orientation they face the only ones that allow you to decide any direction are rotary type fittings such as theses:
