cache vs rpm

i was searching around and was wonder which is better to have 

7200rpm 64 cache

or

5400rpm 128 cache

 

i am looking into 2.5" hard drive(sshd)

7200RPM will make a much bigger difference than the megabytes of cache will. However, it will also draw more power, reducing battery life if used in a laptop.

and any kind of real world transfer will have much bigger issues with the slower mechanical elements in a 5400rpm drive than with the slightly lower cache in the 7200rpm drive.

i guess its impossible to have a 2tb 7200rpm 64mb cache at 2.5"

It depends.
If you do a very select tasks on your computer (like 90% chrome) then the 5400RPM will be fine.
 

If you game, chrome, listen to WMP, watch movies and so on then get the faster drive.

because compared to the extra cost, they offer very little benefit.
