Gaming Keyboard Comparison

Hi,

 

I like ur Keyboard Comparison Videos but what I miss on all videos is a objective Comparison in Terms of Reaction Time. Cherry says their Real Key Feature is the best on the market and that most keyboards reaction times is about 20 ms. But I have never seen objective tests where Real Key is compared to other Keyboard Manufactures. I play fps games and I know its not a big difference but this would definitely influence my buy decision.

 

I dont know how u think about that. Would like to hear ur opinions on that.

just get a keyboard and don't worry about it. i recommend a k70.

I'd just get a KM780. Much better than the K70. Don't worry too much about switch response times.

Since we are talking about so small time, its really hard to test it. Most of it is marketing vs actual benefit. Same thing as what gaming monitors use. Your eyes can't see difference between 2ms and 6ms anyway. With keyboards your own reaction time will be much bigger factor than any gimmick keyboard has to offer.

U should be able to test the delay between the actual signal from the keyboard to the PC. Ofc the delay of the key switches themselves has to be added but what I rly want to know if its true what cherry says that every normal keyboard "board" has a delay of around 20 ms and cherry has not that delay.

 

I dont want to talk about monitors. I want to talk about keyboards and actually not the switches themselves. Switches are in my eyes just taste.

i have the corsair strafe rgb with mx silent and it looks amazing and everyone who has seen it has said so as it has the white behind the keys so the lights really come though also coz it has the mx silent keys in it is genuinely quite other then the space bar ngl but u know when gaming u dont use it that much example when in discord with the lads who all have normal mech keyboard i can hear every key they hit i can put my mic next to a key and slam it down and its quieter then theres with there mic on the headsets normally
