Hello guys,

Im looking for new PC and my budget is $850.

For the CPU, I would choose Intel, for the GPU it doesn't really matter.

At the moment, I have keyboard monitor mouse etc. but ill need a windows copy for it so that should be about -$100.

For the storage, im looking at 128 GB SSD and 1-2 TB HDD.

I will be glad for any help at this. Thanks in advanced

What about that;

  • The Thermaltake Versa N21 ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 360mm long, but video cards over 250mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI Radeon RX 480 8GB ARMOR 8G OC Video Card is 269mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.

Just means you'd not be able to use 1 or 2 of the hard drive bays.

Not bad. I would drop SSD or HDD and buy later to fit in with 850 budget. Maybe find a better case too. Can't imagine an i5 and 1070 to fit in that ugly case lol

Found a Versa N21 on sale for $30. Edited in.

$890 is about 5% over budget. I think that's reasonable.

Questionable choice there. The Core i5 6500 is faster, costs the same, and won't be problematic if OP's board doesn't come with an updated BIOS.

If you go for the cheapest Z board and throw something like a 212 evo on it, might be able to squeeze a 6600k in the budget :P
