Posted January 19, 2017 Hey guys! As of recent I've been getting into PC building. Looking at budget GPUs, the RX 480 has been tickling my fancy. But what I wanna know exactly is, what CPU goes best with this GPU? I'm on a AMD CPU budget atm, so rule out all Intel for now. (but for future reference, go ahead) Thanks ahead of time! Posted January 19, 2017 Welcome to the forums! I would pair an RX 480 with at least a latest Intel 2-core Hyperthreaded CPU, like the Pentium G4560 (about $70, but motherboards for it cost a bunch of money). But really what you should tell us is what's your budget for building a computer. We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now.
