randomly disconnecting

In my last post I was talking about my nas server not exceeding 1.5Mbs transferring speeds,

I still have a issue that it randomly disconnects.
In the log I found this error
Temporary error in name resolution.

What does this mean?

Use ip not dns or computer name. What specs?

I have a 2 drive bay nas, 2 disks in them of 1TB WD Blue brand new

Switch is a sitecom 100Mbs with 5Ghz support and 300 Mbps wan port

Laptop is a acer travelmate with 5Ghz support

I tested with cable and without but error continues
What could be wrong by using the name?

DNS always seems to have problems, using the ip is normally much better.

But thanks ^^ atleast now I am able to transfer files again even if it takes an hour for a 10 minute video to transfer xp

wireless explains it. Get wired if you want speed. Wireless is always slow
