One second I think I'm going to run low on time soon when I pushed the 24 pin connector all the way in and it clicked could anything to do with this be an issue or have I broken the motherboard or something?

Hmm it might be broken connector or slot on the motherboard but it would be so rare to break it with pushing it down.. You can try to slowly take it out and maybe blow some air into it so the dust comes out..

I plain out can't get the 24 pin cable out I really don't no I wiggle it a bit but nothing it is really stuck

No idea then, try the RAM thing what i have told you and if it doesn't work then try to ask for help from your friend who knows better or something.. Do you get any error code on the small display on the motherboard? Does it even light up?

My motherboard is on and has two 0s where it would usually show a number while actual lin in windows and it's all working as far as I can see I really don't know

I will swap ram around tommorow if not then I don't know I built the PC around Christmas and I've always had issues
