Samsung EVO vs EVO+ microSD card

The cheapest 32 GB EVO here costs PHP 560 (~11 USD) plus two bucks shipping while the cheapest 32 GB EVO+ costs PHP 700 (~14 USD) plus two bucks shipping. I'm trying to spend as little as possible since I'm a high school student. If there is no noticeable performance difference, I'll settle with the cheaper one.

 

My phone is a Galaxy A5 (2015), if that matters.

just go for the cheapest honestly, you probably won't notice much day to day difference between the pair.

Honestly I have never noticed the difference in Sd card speeds in a Phone.  Just look for a Class 10 and you are good.  Frankly Unless it is going in to my DSLR Camera I get Microcenter branded cards.  Their 32gb Class 10 cards are $10.  

 

when it comes to removable flash media I just go to my local Microcenter to get mine.  I have never had a sd card or USB drive fail from them.

There is a difference in the speed of the cards. This will determine how fast your application runs.

Maybe if you had a very advanced phone but I would argue with most phones you wont notice a difference.  Especially a 2 year old phone.

I got my mother a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. It only has 8GB of internal storage, thinking she might not store too much on it, it should be enough. The OS took a good chunk of it and she has a bunch of games installed, where it was left with less than 100MB. So any updates won't install and she can't play her games due to it needs to be updated it. I went and got a class 10 microSD card and moved some of here applications over to run on the card itself. When launching the app from the card, it took forever, so I had to move it back to the internal storage. Then I went and got a UHS3 card and did the same thing. The speed of it was close enough to that of the internal storage, where the speed of that is acceptable.
