So this problem has been going on for a while and I have already ask the f orum once about this problem. It seems that my 3770k is running alot slower then it should, and i have no idea why my 3770k is under preforming. I was hoping more people would be availble to give some imput into the problem.

Voltage checks outs

Core clock is consistently stable and does not fluctuate during the Cinebench run.

Temp are 80s and isnt being down clocked from thermals

Voltage are stable at 1.335v, but wanted to see if i was underpowering the cpu so bumped it to 1.340v and same results.

All Bios software is updated to newest version.

Hmm, odd. My 6600k with a 4.5GHz overclock with a bunch of background programs gets a 705. Check your task manager and see if there are any rogue programs, like how svchost.exe took away TONS of performance for me. I killed it through services and it was like I got a whole new rig.

If anything, lower your voltages man.

Also what makes you think its underperforming?

its losing to the 3770k at stock in the Cinebench doodlely. Also in comparison to other people in the forums they are usually getting around 800-900.

1.335 is decently safe. It is still running at 70s

Exactly, and i cant find anything bloating in processes. An 4c8t CPU still shouldnt lose to a newer generation 4c this badly.

"losing" by a few points is within margin of error. As said above, check to see if you have other programs in the background using up your cpu cycles.

The voltage you have is safe as long as you keeps the temps down, but it is much higher than I like leaving my cpu. For comparison I have a 3770 (non-k, but multiplier overclocked to 4.3) running at a constant 1.2 v with no problems.

When in doubt, re-format.

I was running my 3770k at 4.2ghz at 1.175v a while ago. was getting about 525 in CineBench, which is still lower than anything.

This isnt Margin or error tho> a 3.5ghz cpu is beating a 4.2ghz/4.6ghz cpu. at stock this cpu gets obliterated i got 499.

check your power settings, make sure your CPU max can go upto 100% in advanced.
