USB Port Not Recognizing Xbox One Controller

So I have my front I/O on my case and right now it is powering my Razer Kraken 7.1 Headset. But whenever I plug in any USB Drive or Xbox One controller it doesn't recognize them. But, it is weird because it is powering them. My Xbox controller vibrates and my USB lights up, yet the computer just doesn't know they're there. But, it's weird because my headset is working and is being recognized.

What operating system do you have, as well as what programs you're trying to use it with?

try this, see if that helps:

 

unplug all USB devices you don't absolutely need. A PS2 mouse would come in handy at this point.

go to device manager / USB controllers (or whatever it's called in English) and uninstall ALL the devices.

reboot the computer

the devices will reinstall themselves automatically

plug in the other devices and wait for them to install

see if the issue persists

make sure its not in the USB 3.0 or 3.1 port, use a 2.0 port. My xbone controller would disconnect when i start playing, it was weird.

It does it for both 3.1, 3.2, and 2.0

Drivers, i have Win 8.1 so i'm not sure.

Check if there is an optional update for the Xbox App, as well as any updates concerning the Xbox One controllers.
