b150 supports 7th gen

you will have to make sure your board has the latest \ compatible bios flashed before you install the 7th gen chip.

you need to check the specific mobo, manufacturers have released preliminary Kaby Lake support but quite a few mobos were left out

Some will work but you most likely will need the BIOS updated first

If you already have that motherboard, you'll want to go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest bios.  Look on the CPU compatibility chart of the site for Kaby Lake CPUs.

If this is a board you plan on buying, it probably wont be compatible out of the box.  You would need to check carefully with the maker if they have revised the board for Kaby Lake in the factory.  At that point it's probably better to go with a B250.
