Hello guys,

so i just bought a new SSD, while i was running my old HDD (Win 10). When it arrived i didn´t have a Windows Disc but a friend of mine installed it on the SSD and he said it worket just fine. After he gave it to me i hooked it up, but i didn´t screw it in, since i´m missing the screws. However i set everything up in the bios but whenever i wanted to boot via the SSD it won´t let me boot up, even after i unplugged the HDD. I also downloaded the Win 10 setup and ran it on the SSD, but it still won´t work... Also as a note i´m very, very new in "building" something in the PC, so i might just missed something obvious...

Thanks for the help already ^^

As i said, i am very new, but i think it´s the .exe file that needs to be ran in order to install Windows 10 and i did that on the SSD because my friend who is more into the whole building stuff told me to do it...

Uh no...

To install windows you run the media creation tool which puts windows on a USB, then you reboot from the USB and install from the USB...

I have no idea what virus or whatever you ran on your PC...
