Hey guys,

I just installed a new cpu mobo and gpu.

And I'm now getting an issue where when windows starts up it crashes during the animation of the four balls that turn into the windows logo. It then prompts me to use the windows repair tool which says there's no problems.

If you just swapped the motherboard, cpu, and gpu without re-installing Windows, you will get that problem. You cannot necessarily boot from another system's Windows installation. You'll need to format the drive and do a clean installation.

Win7 sadly doesn't like mobo changes. You really need to reinstall. Repair won't do any good, unless you somehow can access device manager and clear all drivers. But still full reinstall will be better. There's no guarantee that it will work even after you have removed all drivers.
