Yes, you should flush your rads. If you run your system and then drain it instead of flushing the rads, you risk having the gunk in the radiator clog your blocks.

Is it really necessary to flush radiators these days, i know back in the day you needed to but with todays' quality control yay or nay?

And if so can i just run the whole system and then drain it and count that as a flush?

You still need to flush them, usually a dozen or so rinses/shakes with tap water and a final few with distilled water will do the job. Some companies like EKWB pre-clean them but still require a rinse at the very least.

ok thanks, dont need to flush EK CPU and GPU waterblocks?

It's not necessarily a bad thing to give them a quick rinse with distilled water to remove any dust if there is any.

Definitely yes. I just dismantled my system (after a year), flushed out the radiators and they were still full of junk which was unbelievable. They were flushed multiple times with warm water before going in the system too.

I power flush my radiators by using a cheap submersible fountain pump in a bathtub filled with hot water.  Just let it go for 15 minutes.

Then you fill with distilled water for final rinse.

I think I got this one at Home Depot, but yeah it's not a powerful pump it's just enough to get good flow to knock stuff loose.  Think it's about 140 gallon per hour.  Any ebay / amazon made-in-china one will also work, submersible because it makes it super easy to use.
