I have a sneaking suspicion that our socks and sandals friend, linus, has stolen the razer prototypes.

"did you steal the razer prototypes"

"what prototypes?"

"the Project Valerie prototypes, 2 are missing"

Na, Linus wasn't too enthused about the one video I watched of the triple monitor laptop. Even he thought it was overkill. Besides, he made a comment something to the effect of "You can't game on it" or "It's not completely ready yet."

 

What, I'm guessing, that means is that the GPU is severely underpowered for the 3 screens or that the GPU overheats when trying to run them. 

 

So basically it's a "look at me" prototype but not anything useful. 

 

I wonder how long it'll take the thieves to realize that.

 

Also wonder how long it will take them to realize that they can never sell them, as, by their nature, there are only one of each them.

Destroy is quite a far stretch.
Afaik some people have actually (probably teamed up) with companies to "steal" stuff from Trade shows. Check ProSyndicate. 1 or even 2 of his Razer Blade were models on display on shows.
