Is it important to have G sync on the monitor for 1080 ?

Hey all Still I cant decide what monitor to get with g sync or meh is it that good with one or its isn't important to have on an 1440p monitor ? :)

Let's put it this way - it isn't necessary but it certainly is a nice thing to have. Kinda like 60Hz vs 144Hz... you'll definitely notice the difference.

 

Of course, the price may be hard to justify.

I play on a 144Hz monitor and rarely have tearing issues so I wouldn't say it is needed. Your mileage may vary though.
