NSA Sues Non-Profit Advocacy Group

DishyBrute

According to a statement released by Public Citizen, a non-profit advocacy group, Zazzle, the company that manufactured LibertyManiacs’ politically charged T-shirts, hats, and bumper stickers, received a cease and desist letter on March 14, 2011 for all items using the name and logo of the NSA and Homeland Security.

Yesterday McCall, who founded the Sauk Rapids, Minnesota-based company in 2003 filed a lawsuit that said the graphics, which are now printed by Café Press, could not be confused as sponsorship, and no reasonable person would believe the agencies themselves produced the products, two key elements of the cease and desist letter.

The NSA is ridiculous. Way to interfere on our First Amendment Rights.
