N-Key Rollover

Hi,

 

I'm just about to order my new keyboard but noticed the Corsair K70 Lux had N-Key Rollover and the Black Widow Chroma X I was going to buy has 10 Key rollover. The confusing part is that I thought USB was limited to 10 key anyway so does this mean the corsair can only really register 10 at a time as it uses USB

nope . they said 1"00% anti-ghosting with 104 key rollover on USB"

No, it's possible to have more than 10 over USB.

Is 104 really necessary or will 10 be plenty i'm trying to think of a time where I would need more than 10 lol.

Oh ok an article I looked at said USB 2.0 had a limitation over PS/2 of only 10 key rollover but it must be an old or incorrect article

dang guess i'm back to deciding between the K70 lux with cherry reds and the Razer Blackwidow X with Greens

get whatever you like the look off they all are high quality keyboards.

the mouses are all garbage 1 had my mx masters for the same the as my friend who went over 6 mouses. My experience would say a dollar store mouse would last longer. no idea about keyboard but corsair keyboard have really good quality.

oh I was going to buy the Death adder lol but now may have to re-think

I would suggest you do a bit of google research on razer quality before considering it one of your options.

It's always better to find out yourself than have someone tell you about it

I looked at some reviews on amazon and there was like over 1000 positive and only about 100 negative but maybe i'm missing something

Corsair's build quality is top of the line though. I have the k70 lux, it looks and feels badass.

GOD I love their software (oh yeah, OP -- Razer Synapse is a bitch)

I had experience with Synapse years ago with the Kraken headset and it was crap then but it's been a while so don't know what it's like these days. (Got rid of the Kraken after a month and got Sennheiser headphones and a Yeti) The mic sucked on the Kraken but a few friends have the death adder and keep saying I should get one I currently have a Corsair M65 and a Corsair K55 (Membrane it's horrible compared to the brown switches i'm use to)  Is roccat any good, the Shape of the Kone XTD optical looks nice and the keyboard looks ok I just don't know if I want to get the M65 Pro mouse the shape is alright but they thought more about thumb placement than pinky placement

For the price, I'd rather a g402 (in fact I did, I love this mouse)

 

yeah the roccat mouse is quite pricey at £70 lol, I'll go with the K70 if I can find it in stock somewhere with brown switches I think i'm willing to pay £20 for browns over reds but Amazon don't know when they are getting it back instock
