Sub £50 mechanical keyboard possible?

Tieox
Go to solution Solved by Aereldor,

There's a dirt-cheap Kailh Red Zalman keyboard for  £37. I would not recommend buying it.

Instead, this keyboard comes from Cherry themselves, and features superior Cherry MX Red switches and a numpad. It's also just £5 over your budget, and I think it looks nice too.

After a new gaming keyboard, limited to a £50 budget with also having to replace my PSU unit aswell!.

I'm moving from a Logitech G11 which I love however the num pad and up arrow has packed in, and the death seems to be spreading slowly.

For £50 what are my options? Scan and OCUK have membrane keyboards for that range, but not much in the way of mechanical and what keyboards I do see, I have little experience what is worth buying, and what is not.

All opinions appreciated.

Not anything CherryMX for sure. Unless you find some meme deal.

There's one from Cherry themselves, actually.

Interesting, I did not actually know cherry made their own keyboards.

They even make mice. When I'm trying to find dirt-cheap keyboard-and-mouse bundle recommendations, I usually look to Cherry stuff. Sure, the cheap bundles feature membrane keyboards, but I trust Cherry enough to recommend their keyboards without the switch types they're known for.
