Acer VS Asus

Hey pretty soon i plan on buying one of two of these monitors. Acer Predator X34 or ASUS ROG PG348Q having a hard time trying to pick witch one would be the best. Anyone thoughts or review on either would be great also leaving an amazon link to both below. any help would be great and thanks

they are basically the same thing just get whatever is cheaper.

Either would be fine. They are both reputable brands.

if your talking about acer predator vs rog swift. I cant say anything about the rog ultra wide but the other ROG monitors are mostly junk, I will say the 24'' acer predator 1080p has awful back light bleed in the center of the screen. For regular monitors Id say its preference.

Acer makes their own panels, ASUS is just a rebrander of LG displays. If there's a comparable LG SKU to what you're looking at from ASUS, chances are about 97.7% that you're better off getting the LG version, as they naturally cherry pick the best panels for themselves. And ASUS customer support isn't exactly stellar should you run into an issue.

Well, that Acer actually has an LG LM340WU2-SSA1 panel inside it, so I wouldn't say that Acer made it and that it's Asus using LG panels.

 

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure that Acer doesn't manufacture ANY panels, few companies actually manufacture panels.
