Just checking this is right. When installing pins into the gfx card slot, there was 2x3(x2)pins and 1(x2) pins. I did my best to match it but it could be altered to work in different ways, one of the 1x2 pins needs to be left out and I am using pcei cables.

Please let me know if this looks right!

Its fine, that how it was designed, no issues with OC'ing will happen. The standard reference design has only 1 8 pin, this is 8+6.

so essentially you're saying what i've done is correct, I'm just eliminating the extra pin by not using it?

Yes, its fine. Its just some cards have 2 8 pins, thats why 2 aren't used here.

well the extra pin is for extra oc, more headroom.

Ok so the PC will run fine without bothering to OC my gfx card, and I'm cool to go buy myself a cable that suits my gfx card in the future for when I want to oc?

No please do not mix and match cable unless from a company such as cable mod  just get a new power supply.
