Will kaby lake and Skylake use the same motherboard socket?

Yes however it is worth noting that you'll need to update manually the bios on the skylake mobos in order to accept Kaby Lake.

To go from Skylake to Kabylake yes, if you put a Skylake in a Z270 no.
