upgrade xeon e3-1230v2 for 2017 christmas worth?

for 167€, im thinking to get it for this christmas (i know that the year has just begun) so i think that the price will drop a bit and im asking if its worth if i pay for it because i dont have money for a instant complete build and i dont want to wait like years to get a good a good pc since im "poor" until i find a job after finishing high/secondary school... (also for now i dont need, just for gaming like LoL and CSGO so...)

 

my current pc specs...:

 

celeron g540 -> i3 2100 (just bought this cpu for avoid bottleneck and etc)

gt 730 2gb gddr5

6gb ram

 

and after watching userbenchmarks seems to be like this xeon equals to a 6500 more or less... Maybe some of you will think that's more worth getting an i5 6400 but its 10€ more + new mobo (which is between 50€) so no... 

 

PS: is there a better deal for a used cpu around this price? remember that i can spend maximum 160€

Look at used prices for i7 2600 in your area. Do you have eBay?

Same cores, same threads, same cash, faster clock, and $50 cheaper at least in US.

is ok that price? how much should it cost? why xeon ones costs more and "performs less"?

I couldn't tell you how much it should be in your area. I just look for a good Ballance of highest rated seller and lowest price. I don't bother with auctions either, I prefer buy it now.
