DVI TO VGA

Femin Dharamshi

If i buy a graphic card which has only DVI output, and my monitor only has VGA, and if i use a DVI to VGA converter to connect them both, will it reduce performace, lag or give any issue for gaming ?

Above post is correct, but provided you get the right DVI adapter, it should work fine. Doesn't mess with my system at all.

It shouldn't affect any of that. Be aware that if the card only has DVI-D and not DVI-I, you will need an active converter.
