Hi

I have a thermaltake smart series 750w bronze certified and I want to know if I can overclock safely a rx 480 with that psu without any troubles. I aim something around 1400mhz if the card allows it (maybe 1450 if I am lucky).

Thanks

My specs:

-i7 4790 (non k)

-asus b85e-csm

-8gb ram

-240gb ssd

-external hdd of 320gb

-3 fans on the chasis

-750w psu bronze

1400 - 1450 shouldn't be too hard with that card.

@Jumper118 has a similar ish card i think?

which rx480 is it? i would recommend using sapphire trixx or msi after burner rather than watman. i have xfx gtr and both do well over 1400mhz, but the xfx gtr have one of the best coolers, so with lesser cards you will be looking at 1350-1400 range i think.

Rig Specs:

Asus Zenith III Extreme

Asrock OC Formula 7970XTX Quadfire

I have ordered the msi one but since they didn't start the shipping process I might be able to change my order for the gtr
