TCP UDP

PoI i would like to know what ports I need to unblock for internet to work to browse the Internet 

 

I have unblock FTP port 21 TCP

Port 22 TCP SSH 

Port 23 TCP telnet 

Port 53 TCP DNS. Do I need to unblock for UDP???

 

Port 80 TCP hTTP do I need to unblock for UDP????

 

Port 443  TCP. HTTPS  do I need to unblock for UDP ?????

normally thats is incomming ports only, you don't have to unblock anything to browse the web normally(and if you did you wouldn't be asking here)

Whats your network setup. 

 

Why is web browsing blocked, normally don't touch it.

You don't unblock ports to browse the internet. You're opening up ports to get into your network, not out of it. There is probably something else wrong, as @Electronics Wizardy said, let us know your setup and the model numbers of the equipment.

You bought a mikrotik router, but don't know the basics of networking/routing? Seems like a bad combo to me...

For outbound connectivity for web content;

 

UDP - 53 (required for external DNS lookups)

TCP - 80 (Standard HTTP port) do not open UDP

TCP - 443 (Standard HTTPS port) do not open UDP


That is all you need for websites alone

Above rules are basically what every home router comes with FYI.
