4790k vs 6850k vs 6700k

So i've seen on CPUboss (don't know if it's a good source..) that the 4790k beats the 6850k and the 6700k by some points on most of the criteria. So i want to know if you can confirm or tell me if it's false to say that it is better for gaming?

the 4790k/6700k/upcoming 7700k are the best cpu's for gaming because of their more powerful cores, but less of them. If the 4790k beat out the 6700k significantly, it is probably due to running the 4790k at a higher clock speed. The 6850k has more cores, but each core is weaker, which is better for certain rendering applications.

CPU Boss isn't a good website for comparisons.

4790K and 6700K usually trade blows with the 6700K being newer and doing better.

6850K is an enthusiast CPU and would do you well for much longer than the others, but is more costly.

Best for strict gaming would be either the 4790K or 6700K, but going with the newer CPU is the better choice unless you can find Z97 boards and a 4790K for cheaper.
