16 is more than enough. Also take a look at my i7 6700 build that I just posted. It has a nice mechanical keyboard and a good mouse (I have it personally and really love it)

I made a few minor changes to it because I personally think I want a 1x16 and that for the games I will run that I only need a 1060

1060 can not maintain a solid fps with that 144hz monitor I put. And a 1070 will give you more future. Some games can not do 60fps at 1080p maxed out with 1060 already
