Hard Drive Help?

I recently got a used PC being used as a "server" at my work, and I have since converted it to a gaming PC by throwing in a 240 gig cs1311 SSD from Crucial, an XFX RX 470, and a new keyboard and mouse. Since, I've started using it though, I have been encountering a very unique seeming problem: it will not write very much information before throwing out a write error and refusing to work. It's a surveillance drive from Seagate, a st31000525sv to be exact. Can anyone enlighten me on this? I'm completely stumped.

Have you checked the drives health?

Could be dead.

Im guessing it might be failing. I would take it to a professional. Plus that drive isnt ment really for your type of work load.
