Would I notice a difference?

Currently I have an Amd athlon 860k clocked at 4ghz. Im planning to get an i5 4460. Games I play are Overwatch, CSGO and Rust . Will I notice a large difference in performance in these games or not

My gpu is an amd R9 380 4gb

Games rely more on the GPU then CPU.
Ofcourse they'll use some CPU power, but I don't think you would see a large performance spike.

Yes, as the 860K is roughly equivalent to a G3258

On CSGO you're already pushing your monitor's refresh rate so it will only make latency a little tiny bit better. On the other two, probably a pretty big difference.

You'll notice a big difference in open world games like Rust. What server do you play on?
