That's great too. any haswell/skylake i5 will suit you fine. consider upgrading to an RX470/RX480 when you save up a bit more.

Well it supports up to a 4790 and if you coulod get one used for a good price this might be it. What is your GPU though? an i7 might be way overshooting it

This one is less performing... but its not too bad.

You asked for the BEST cpu for this board, which is 4790K,

Should get the 4790 tho as you will not overclock,

Its not a great choice if that board is low quality because of the high TDP with K series, also no overclocking.

Its the best CPU that will fit this board. not the best for it.

It doesn't matter. by itself, the 4790k outperforms all others in the LGA1150 socket.

But why spend more when you can get similar performance out of a Xeon E3 1230 v3?

Because the 1230 is a socket 1155.

The 4790k has over 700MHz over the 1230v3. from a standpoint of THE BEST, how can you defend the Xeon against the 4790k? Personally I don't think you can.
