Hello,

I stopped paying attention to modern tech about a year ago and so I finally am thinking about actually getting an ultrawide monitor.

I need some help, since I haven't really been paying attention since ultrawides became a thing.

Firstly, it will be used mostly for gaming. However I like IPS bc muh color depth.
Secondly, I think 2560*1080 is probably the only way to go, seeing as 3440*1440 is very hard to power with a single card setup (I have but a single 980ti).

Also 3440*1440 is really, really expensive (like 1000$+ in Canada).

I'm looking mainly for IPS (because of reasons mentions above), <8ms GrayToGray preferably even tho last I checked that doesn't matter as some people pretend it does.

I do have preferred brands, but I mean w/e. Just looking for idea for something solid.

Thanks for any help boys.

I make bad life decisions.
