I wanted to build a very cheap water cooling loop for around 60-65$ and i am stuck on the tubing, the pump is a SC-300T but its barbed fittings are 9.4mm which i believe is 1/8 inch. While the all the other parts like CPU block and radiator take 1/4 inch tubing, so is there a special fitting or something that i need to connect the two or should i just look for a new pump?

BTW this is my first time water cooling so i am completely clueless on how the fittings work.

Water cooling and cheapening out just really don't seem to fit? Save you the trouble and just buy a really good air solution for 50$?

Air coiling for that price point makes more seance that a water cooling loop.

https://www.amazon.com/Noctua-Single-Tower-Cooler-NH-U14S/dp/B00C9FLSLY/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1482893593&sr=8-7&keywords=noctua+cpu+cooler

If you are set on water cooling just get an All in one unit. It is far cleaner than a ghetto loop. (Seriously though a air cooler is quieter and will perform the same with less points of failure. Water cooling makes no sense about 70% of the time.)

As for your question look for a pump with the correct size. It would cost about the same as the fittings needed to convert the tube size.

9.4mm would be closest to 3/8" = 9.525mm

For setups like theses though you would be better off getting an AIO unit than doing ghetto loops.

this is why i have never done a custom loop. if you are water cooling you need $$$ and it is only worth doing on a top end i7. water cooling on anything less does not compare to price/performance on air cooling

a $60 air cooler if you have the space would be far superior then a ghetto loop. check pcpartpicker its the best place to search for parts. or just ask for what $60 air cooler you should get.

ok well thanks again looking at the noctua's that BurningSmile linked they look nice or the Dark rock like DeXxterlab97 said but i guess those are the two best choices?

Noctua is generally considered one of the best performers, but it looks pretty nasty with the beige fans. Check out the Cryorig R1 Universal and R1 Ultimate, much nicer looking coolers and almost the same performance as the Noctuas. Dark Rock isn't a bad choice, but they are a pig to fit... they never seem to have managed to create an easy fit system, but Noctua and Cryorig are a breeze.

System: Ryzen 7 5800X - Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master - Noctua D15S Chromax - 32GB 3600 RAM - EVGA Black 2080Ti
